HOW DOES IT WORK?

It’s simple! By signing up to become an assembly partner, your shop will be listed as a possible shipping destination when our customers check out on our website! When a customer enters their shipping address, they’ll be prompted with a “In-Store Pickup” option. If you’re in the customer’s vicinity, they can ship their order to you for final assembly.

HOW MUCH DO I GET PAID?

We are offering our assembly partners 30% of the final sale value to assemble our bikes and install any accessories. That’s right, 30% of the sale!

HOW DO I GET PAID?

ShipEarly facilitates the payouts directly to you! Upon signup, you’ll set up your payout method with a free “Stripe” account. All payments are handled electronically so you get paid promptly!

WHAT ARE MY OBLIGATIONS TO THE CUSTOMER?

By signing up to become an assembly partner, you are agreeing to build any BildaBike bicycles that are shipped to you in a timely manner, as well as install any accessories that come with the order. We request any bikes that arrive, be built within 7 days. If a bike is being shipped to your shop, you will be notified by email the day the order goes through. We ask that you go ahead and insert the build into your queue as soon as possible. If there is a conflict or your service department is backed out, please contact us or the customer to let us/them know the situation. We understand the seasonality that comes with running a service department and know things can go from a 24hr turn around to 2 weeks out in the blink of an eye. Communication is key!

WHAT DO I DO WHEN I FINISH ASSEMBLING THE BIKE?

After assembly is complete, all you need to do is call the customer and notify them their order is ready. All of the customer’s information will be provided on the ShipEarly website. Customers are provided with a verification code to be given to you upon pickup. When you’re under the customer’s order on the ShipEarly website, you’ll see a green button near the bottom of the page that says, “Enter Verification Code”. Simply click this button and enter the code to confirm the customer has picked up the bike. We also ask customers to bring an ID to confirm their identity.

WHY DO WE OFFER THIS PROGRAM?

It’s very important to us that our customers receive a bike that is ready to ride and professionally assembled. It’s even more important for us to help foster local connections and get more people into their local bike shops. Let’s be honest! People’s buying habits have changed and more people are shopping online than ever before…and many have never stepped foot into a bike shop before. In addition to being compensated for the assembly, our hope is that by you providing a professional service and experience, our customers will come back to your shop for all their essentials and service going forward.
