Warranty Policy

Each Bilda Bike comes with a lifetime warranty to the frame and fork. This is only applicable to the original owner and cannot be transferred to another person(s). 

In order to be eligible for a warranty your bike must be assembled and tuned by a professional bike shop. Bilda Bike can NOT be held liable for improper assembly and maintenance. While we do our best to protect our bicycles during shipping, sometimes adjustments need to occur. Bilda Bike is not responsible for the costs of a professional assembly or any adjustments needed to be made by a bicycle mechanic.

Original sales receipt and proof of professional assembly is required at the time of claim.

Bilda Bike warrants the replacement or repair at its sole option, of any original Bilda branded part due to a defect in material and/or workmanship for 1 year from the original date of purchase. This includes:  seat post, crankset, pedals, wheels, hubs, spokes. This warranty only covers defects. BildaBike is NOT liable for replacing damaged parts due to negligence, self-inflicted damage, user error, or neglect.

We will not be liable for consequential damage resulting from damaged or defective parts. Such consequential damage may include but is not limited to the labor to replace the parts, the time the bicycle was not in use, etc.

Limited Remedy: Unless otherwise provided, the sole remedy under the above warranty or any implied warranty is limited to the replacement of defective parts with those of equal or greater value at the sole discretion of Bilda Bike. You will be responsible for labor costs associated with warranty replacements. IN NO EVENT SHALL BILDA BIKE BE RESPONSIBLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, WHETHER BASED ON CONTRACT, WARRANTY, NEGLIGENCE, OR PRODUCT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER THEORY, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, PERSONAL INJURY DAMAGES, PROPERTY DAMAGE, OR ECONOMIC LOSSES.

This warranty is void in its entirety by the modification of the frame, fork or components. Failure of any frame or component due to accident, abuse, neglect, normal wear, stunt riding, commercial use, rental use, improper assembly, improper fit, maintenance and/or assembly by/or purchased from another party besides a professional bicycle shop, or use of parts inconsistent with the use originally intended for the bicycle as sold, are not covered by this warranty.

If your bike has shipping damage, you must notify Bilda Bike within 7 days of delivery, please email [email protected] and fill out our warranty claim form. Please immediately inspect your purchase upon delivery. Shipping Damages noted after 7 days cannot be submitted for claim. Please retain all packaging and send photos if possible.

Bicycle Lifecycle

Always purchase your new Bilda Bike from an Authorized Bilda Bike Dealer or directly from Bilda Bike, and be sure to maintain your bicycle and have it inspected regularly to guarantee the Bilda ride quality and identify any potential issues. Bilda Bikes are designed for intended use and rider enjoyment, however, bicycles are not indestructible; every frameset has a useful life cycle and may not last forever. The duration of the life cycle will depend upon the type of frame, riding conditions and the care your bicycle receives.
